After looking at the latest clue I have no doubts...


...it's Martin Solveig!

Considering sometimes it's hard to find even italian magazines here (this is what happened last month with Elle Accessories, which apparently has never arrived in my town...), my craving for online publications is getting bigger and bigger...

Just a few days ago I was in awe for Betty , this new Lula-esque british mag Susie Bubble wrote about here...


...and today I'm looking at PUSH IT, an online magazine about fashion, music, travel and art, available to everyone online and with a small limited printed edition sent to PRs, Celebrities and leading industry figures.


What's interesting about PUSH IT is the fact that it's Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina's 1st International style magazine. It mixes the best of the Balkans with the rest of the world and if you have ever looked at the pictures of this super cool girl, you can't doubt this is a very stylish area...

The only italian song in this list... Actually a cover from Franco Battiato . Perfect, perfect song. Reminds me of the first concert I've ever been to (1996. Since then, I've seen them live other six times...) and of a bunch of other memories related to the band ...

Cause this reminds me of a journey to France in March 1999. Long before Amelie and Yann Tiersen was still almost unknown.

June 1999 AND May 2000. The mood was flirty. Extremely flirty...listen to the lyrics! The song is an evergreen of mine, btw ;-)

November 2001. A class with Straub-Huillet . Intense. Listened to this every day, obsessively.

For its first anniversary, MA DAME , the new feminine fragrance of Jean Paul Gaultier, raise the volume celebrating with humor, glamour and a bit of mistery.


Following the musical wave MA DAME has invited a mysterious artist to the celebration...it's a surprise party indeed!


Several bloggers around Europe have been invited to unveil the mistery behind this guest star: it will works as a treasure hunt (something I loved when I was a girl, btw!) as they will give us clues and indications to solve the case...before June 22nd

Looking at the picture...that "1234"...I'm thinking the mistery man could be the french DJ Martin Solveig...because of his song One 2 3 Four . Does this makes sense?! ...Who knows?! I will be waiting for a new clue ;-)

Postcards from Venice

I didn't write about all the Fall/Winter collections yet, but I feel the urge to post about Chanel Resort 2010 défilé.
With all the talk about and the two (...and half, considering the previous tv production starring Shirley Maclaine) movies about Mademoiselle Coco, Mr Lagerfeld couldn't have chosen a better place than that boardwalking by the sea in Venice Lido - with the sun about to set - for his fashion show.
Just 350 guests for this "Coco on Venice" (as Lagerfeld called it), a show full of references, almost a mosaic of a bygone era.











Black, white and red, sequins and beads, silent movies inspired hair and make up... this is amazing!
