Pixies

Probably the most popular this year, pixie haircut is something I love but I know would never work on me. I actually have a proof: I had my hair cut that way when I was 17 and even if people tell me it was not that bad at all, I still have nightmares about it!

By the way, if you're braver than me, look for a good hairdresser et...voilà!

You can take inspiration from two great lady icons from the past, Jean Seberg...

...and Mia Farrow in Rosemary's Baby.

Or from two contemporary lady icons: Mia Wasikowska, who looks great with her new haircut...

...and Carey Mulligan, who tried the pixie cut in almost every color shade!

OMG - i have long curly brown hair and i was 17 i had a pixie cut - it DID NOT suit me - I looked so butch. So i can feel you pain, and of course becasue it's a hairstyle I can't have, it's the one i crave the most! ck :) x

I love Carey, but I prefer her with darker hair shades. I used to have my hair cut very short when I was a little girl and I liked me (but maybe because at that age I thought that to be a boywas far mor gorgeous than to be a girl..;-). Nowadays I fear that my oval face won't fit at the best with such a short cut! Kisses! msbx

I had my hair cut like this when I was 19. I think it works best on young gals. I know I could never do it again!

I'm not brave enough (but then again, I don't desire to go this short either), and I think it's because I really feel that a pixie cut wouldn't be in sync with the shape of my body. They certainly can look lovely on other people though, as you've wonderfully demonstrated here.

Enjoy every moment of your day, sweetie!

certo bisogna avere proprio un bel visino per portarlo!trovo che la protagonista del film di burton ci guadagni parecchio in personalità, prima la trovavo un po' anonima, così invece ha un viso che non si dimentica!
