Although I'm liking a lot white wayfarers, I know my ideal sunnies have to be huge and dark, despite all the trends . The shape usually changes according to my mood and this year I have a thing for round frames - is it the Iris Apfel syndrome?!
The Chanel 5118, the ones with those strongly gradient lenses from the 2007 collection (but still so popular...see celebs as Mary Kate Olsen, photo below) and all the similar pairs really fascinated me, but they're a bit too bold for my everyday life. The new Chanel 5120 (again, photo below, but Ashley Olsen this time!) are perfect (and they also come in a wide range of colors combo) but their more than 300$ price tag is actually less perfect...
Yesterday during one of those bright serendipity moments, I stumbled upon the perfect pair of round sunglasses: they were nice to wear and reasonably price tagged for a designer item... I immediately knew they have to be mine!
So, here are my new Miu Miu 13HS in Shiny Black :-)
